Download the file "GetIt16.zip". Quit your browser and unzip the file into an otherwise EMPTY directory.
You will need WinZip to extract the file. If you don't already have it try TUCOWS.
It will expand into several individual files.
Double-Click on the file "GetIt16.exe" to install the SCREAM Plugin in your default browser.
If you have BOTH Netscape and Explorer, the installer will only install the SCREAM Plugin (NPScr16.dll) in your default browser. To install the Plugin in a second browser, follow the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file.
Re-boot your default browser (Netscape or Explorer) and...
You can go straight to the Original SCREAM Home Page
If you have a Midi Keyboard hooked to your PC, you can turn the Midi Input on by holding down <Shift + Ctrl> and pressing the <M> key, while on the SCREAM Home Page. Then try playing a few notes on the keyboard.
Also, try moving the mouse. The SCREAM Objects should follow the mouse pointer.
IMPORTANT!
If you do NOT have a midi input connected and working on your computer, attempting to turn it on will crash Windows!
This is a bug in Windows 3.X and does not happen in Windows 95.SCREAM
