Warning: this page is here for archival purposes only. SCREAM is no longer supported and the latest version of Internet Explorer no longer supports Netscape style plugins.
Netscape requires a MIME type to work with plugins, and this server has now been set up with the correct MIME type. Therefore the SCREAM plugin will only work with versions of Internet Explorer older than 6.0. but should work fine with Netscape.

You can download and run this demo (17.3k) after installing the SCREAM Desktop Player. Put your favorite Pink Floyd CD in your drive and Double Click "CDPlayer.NMZ". Press play, then click in the animation area for a wild Full Screen animation.

2) You must be running Windows 95 (or 3.1 for the 16 bit plugin), Windows NT will NOT work with this release. Version 2.3 is ONLY available for Windows 95.
3) Did the SCREAM Netscape/Explorer Plugin Installer report a successful install? If not, try using the "Manual" install and locate your "plugins" folder yourself. If you can't remember, just install SCREAM again.
4) Did you re-boot your browser before going to the SCREAM home page? If not, re-start your brower, and try it again.
5) SCREAM needs to use your browser's "cache" or it will not work. In Netscape go to the "Options" Menu Item. Select "Network Preferences". Insure that you have at least 4000k of cache space available.
In Explorer go to the "View" menu item. Select "Options". Select "Advanced" and Select "Settings". Be sure you're cache setting is not set to 0%. SCREAM needs at least 4 Meg of cache space for smooth operation.
For the fastest browser performance you should always use as large a cache setting as possible.
Also, if your hard drive is full, the cache will not be able to function properly.
6) If you have more than one browser installed, be sure that the SCREAM
Plugin (NPScr32.dll for Win 95 or NPScr16.dll for Win 3.1) is in the "plugins"
folder of the browser you are using! The "plugins" folder is usually found
in the same folder as the browser itself. The installer's automatic install
will only install in one copy of Netscape and one copy of Explorer (the
most recently used versions).
